Executive Management

Peter joined Duty Free Caribbean (Holdings) Ltd in September 2001, as Chief Operations Officer and was appointed CEO in 2004. Prior to Duty Free Caribbean (Holdings) Ltd, Peter was Caribbean Regional Director for Colombian Emeralds International, a position he held for six years.

Peter‘s previous employment was with the Signet Group Plc in the UK, where his last position was that of Regional Director responsible for the North of England and Scotland, covering 150 stores and 1,200 personnel.

Joined Cave Shepherd as Director, Card Services in June 2011.  Her primary objective is to oversee the strategic direction of the Card Services unit, while continuing to develop a card brand built on over thirty years of excellent financial service

Allison was previously employed in the banking industry.  Her diverse background includes over twelve years in the financial services and credit card management industry.  In her previous managerial positions she held responsibility for designing sales and marketing strategies and other initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience.

Frans Cornelissen was appointed as a Director of GCS Limited in August 2011. Frans has over 24 years experience in local and destination retail and serves as Group Operations Executive for the Tigers Eye Division of Tourvest in Southern Africa.

Tourvest is Southern Africa’s number one tourism group, offering a range of products and services that encompass the needs of all visitors to Southern Africa and internationally. In 2005 Cave Shepherd & Co. Ltd. created a strategic alliance with Tourvest and formed GCS Limited, which operates its souvenir and apparel operation.

Joined Cave Shepherd & Co. Ltd. in 1995 as Financial Controller and assumed his current position in 2000.

Ian Gibson previously worked with Coopers & Lybrand as an Audit Manager. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (FCA) – Practicing Member and a member of the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA).

Brings 23 years of diverse banking experience to his new position, gained mainly in local and regional roles while at CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank.  He has been a Branch Manager, Regional Sales and Service Manager, Regional Marketing Manager, Product Development Manager, Special Projects Manager for the Barbados SBU, District Manager for Retail, Wealth and Small Business and has served on the Country Management Committee.

A graduate of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Paul holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Sector Management and a Masters of Science in Project Management and Evaluation.  He is also a Part-Time Lecturer and Tutor in Business Strategy and Policy at UWI, Cave Hill.
