From as early as the 1940s, Cave Shepherd pledged its support to the Barbadian community by establishing Deeds of Covenant with a number of community-based organisations.

Over the years, beneficiaries of Cave Shepherd’s monetary and in-kind contributions have included civic, non-governmental and community-based organizations; schools and tertiary education institutions; the Church, community support services, sporting associations, clubs and events; and national cultural events.
